Traditional Therapy

What is Traditional Therapy?

Traditional therapy is regular counselling which takes place inside, in a counselling room. It offers you a safe and confidential space to talk through your problems with a qualified counsellor. I work in an integrative way, so I have a range of techniques to help you as much as I possibly can. I believe every client is different and has different needs, so no one set technique is suitable for everyone.

How does it work?

We will meet at the same time every week for a 50 minute session at my practice in Shoreditch. I offer both short term and open ended therapy, and we'll discuss this during your initial phone or email consultation. We will usually agree to start off with an 6-12 week block of sessions at a minimum.

Who is it for?

Traditional therapy is for anyone who feels they could benefit from talking to a professional about their problems. This could range from a specific or sudden issue that you’d like us to work through together, or a more general, ongoing problem. I believe everyone can benefit from work with a therapist if they're willing to engage in the process fully.
